View

The View Mail Template functionality allows users to see complete details of a mail template along with its historical versions and performance scores.

When the View button is clicked from the Actions column in the template list, a new page opens. This page contains two tabs:

1. Detail Tab (Default Open)​

The Detail tab provides complete information about the template. It is divided into three sections:

(a) Template Details​

  • Shows the following information:
    • Title
    • Subject
    • Created At
    • Updated At
    • Status
  • Contains an Edit icon button.
    • Clicking the edit button will take the user directly to the Edit Template page.

(b) Template Update History​

  • Displays all versions of the mail template in a list view, with the latest version (current) at the top.
  • Each entry shows its version information.
  • Features:
    • Set as Current → Allows the user to make any previous version the active version.
    • View Icon → Clicking this opens the version in the Template Viewer (third section).

SQL Query​

(c) Template Viewer​

  • Displays the full content of the selected version of the mail template.
  • Updates dynamically based on which version is chosen from the history list.

2. Score Tab​

The Score tab displays the evaluation scores for the template:

  • Overall Score
  • CTA Strength
  • Deliverability
  • Clarity
  • Grammar
  • Personalization

This helps users assess the quality and effectiveness of their email templates.
